Dr. John “Jack” King, DPM – Board-Certified Podiatrist

Dr. John King was born and raised in New York City and brings decades of expertise in comprehensive foot and ankle care. He is a Board-Certified Diplomate with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an active member of the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. King earned his Doctorate from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed an externship at the Cleveland Clinic. He went on to complete a rigorous three-year Surgical and Medicine Residency at University Hospital in Cleveland, specializing in:
Trauma to the leg, ankle, and foot
Lower extremity reconstructive surgery
Ankle arthroscopy
Sports medicine
Advanced wound care and limb salvage
With over 15 years as an attending physician on staff at Hackensack Meridian Health in the Department of Surgery, Dr. King treats the full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including:
Trauma, fractures, and sprains
Sports injuries and tendon tears
Joint disorders and musculoskeletal conditions
Limb salvage and wound care
His practice emphasizes sports medicine, trauma care, and advanced surgical solutions for patients of all ages.
Outside of medicine, Dr. King enjoys jogging, surfing, hiking, golf, reading, and staying active at the gym.
As of October 1, 2025, Dr King is seeing patients at our Somerset location.
