Dr. James C. Ricketti

Dr. James C. Ricketti, DPM, DAPM, FAAPSM, is a board-certified podiatrist with over 40 years of experience in foot and ankle medicine. A graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed his residency at the James C. Giuffre Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before opening his private practice in 1983.

Dr. Ricketti is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He previously served as team podiatrist for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox baseball teams. Known for his innovative work in podiatric medicine, he invented both the Phenol EZ Swab—a treatment for chronic ingrown toenails—and the Histofreezer Cryo-Freeze system for plantar wart removal.

A recognized expert in biomechanics and custom orthotics, Dr. Ricketti designs and adjusts orthotic devices to restore natural gait and comfort. He served as the Chief of Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton for 20 years and as a Podiatric Representative to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners. He is currently a medical advisor to the Podiatree Drug Company and Advantage Foot Orthotic Laboratory and serves as President-Elect of the New Jersey State Podiatric Medical Society.

Dr. Ricketti welcomes patients for a full range of foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, heel pain, plantar warts, bunions, hammertoes, and diabetic foot issues.
